April 15, 2025 — PARTIAL BUILDING CLOSURE — Beginning on Monday, May 5th, the roof and HVAC system are being replaced here at the Ancaster Municipal Services Building (300 Wilson St. E.), requiring a partial closure of the building and reduced parking spaces.

Ancaster Community Services WILL REMAIN OPEN and all programs will be operating as usual.

An email communication has been sent to our volunteers with the adjustments being made to facilitate the delivery of our individual programs. Food Bank services, along with all other programs (Meals on Wheels, Frozen Meals, Assisted Volunteer Driving, and Shopping 4 Seniors) will be running for clients uninterrupted.

✨ Entry to Ancaster Community Services will be available from the front side door only for the duration of the work. ✨

The Ancaster Branch of the Hamilton Public Library and The City of Hamilton Ancaster Municipal Service Centre will be closed. You can visit their websites for service updates (links provided above). Councillor Cassar’s office will be available for telephone and email support. Please contact them directly for more information.

We appreciate your patience as we work to adjust our operations throughout this process.

Construction is expected to be completed Monday, June 2nd, barring any unforeseen circumstances such as weather-related delays. We will provide updates as we receive them.
