Ancaster Community Food Drive

Initiated by the vision of the Ancaster Ministerial Association, the Ancaster Community Food Drive is an annual event that currently surpasses 30 years of community monetary support and food donations which can be donated to one or more of 8 local agencies, including Ancaster Community Services. ACS is in no way affiliated with the Ancaster Community Food Drive, outside being a featured agency for donations.

The ACS Team would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated in support of this year’s Ancaster Community Food Drive. We are just amazed by our community’s generosity and are so grateful!

We also want to thank the Ancaster Community Food Drive Committee for all the hard work that goes into organizing this huge event! Plus, a giant thank you to all the volunteers who trudged through the snow to make this event so successful! We sincerely appreciate your continued dedication to helping local food banks serve those who need extra support in the Hamilton area.

From the organizing committee: The generous spirit of the community was on full display and their collective acts of kindness resulted in the collection and donation of 72,000 pounds of food and 1,970,500 pounds of food collected over our 31+1 years.

Although this amount was not enough to bring us to the threshold of that next milestone of 2,000,000 pounds of food donated over the 30 Plus 1 years, we are assured of reaching this mark with our next event, one year from now.

The ACS Team looks forward to 2024’s event where the amazing milestone of 2,000,000 pounds of food collected will be reached!
