Ancaster Community Food Drive

Initiated by the vision of the Ancaster Ministerial Association, the Ancaster Community Food Drive is an annual event that currently surpasses over 30 years of community monetary support and food donations which can be donated to one or more of 8 local agencies, including Ancaster Community Services. ACS is in no way affiliated with the Ancaster Community Food Drive, outside being a featured agency for donations. 

This year’s event took place at the Ancaster Fairgrounds on SATURDAY, MARCH 2ND, 2024.

From the organizing committee:

“Ancaster Community Food Drive recorded 75,000 pounds of food collected in Ancaster this year 2024. Total in 32 years of 2,045,500 pounds of food collected for our local food agencies.

Once again the community of Ancaster came together in celebration of service to others and responded with 75,000 pounds of food in celebration of service to other in support of the local food bank agencies. To the hundreds of volunteers and community partners who participated … we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their time and commitment to the people of our city of Hamilton.”

To our hundreds of volunteers, local schools and their wonderful students and staff, service clogs, Faith communities and local businesses, we express our profound gratitude for all that you continue to do in celebration and the care, concern, and support of others in Hamilton. Be assured that the donated items will be donated and delivered to the agencies to replenish their supplies.”

All donations were delivered to 8 food agencies in the City of Hamilton.
