Overview

Registration will open for the 2026 Babysitting Course on Monday, May 4th at 10am.

Learn about basic first aid, fire safety, personal safety, water safety, mental health awareness, and more from local experts.

This fun and interactive course will run for 2 weeks in July from 1:00pm-3:00pm (Note the time change from previous years) Monday to Friday in the Murray Ferguson Room located in the lower level of the Ancaster Library (300 Wilson Street East, Ancaster).

This course is offered to students 11 to 14 years of age. Students must be 11 years of age to participate in the course (or turning 11 the summer of the course).

Course Details:
Cost: $75

Register for ONE of two Sessions:
Week 1: July 6-10
Week 2: July 20-24

Spaces are limited to 20 students per session, so please register early to ensure a spot. Registration will open on Monday, May 4th, 2026.
