ACS is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to support year-round programming for seniors, youth and income-challenged individuals here in Ancaster. We are partially funded by government grants and foundations but rely heavily on donations from local businesses and individuals.
Fundraising initiatives and community events play a big part in helping support our senior nutrition programs including Meals on Wheels, Shopping 4 Seniors and Frozen Meals, plus emergency food assistance programs including our Food Bank and Holiday Assistance Program.
We collaborate with various community groups, organizations and businesses who host local events and fundraisers throughout the year including The Ancaster Mill Race, The Great Pumpkin Stroll, An Ancaster Village Christmas and more. Food drives are also popular events held in support of ACS.
